Generic BScN Programme
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) programme equips students with knowledge, skills and attitude needed to practice nursing. It is designed to prepare clinically competent professional nurses. Upon completion of the programme, nurses are able to utilize critical thinking in providing holistic nursing care and play a role as change agents in nursing practice and education in any health care setting.
This is a four-year academic programme with a mandatory one-year internship. At the conclusion of five years, students are required to apply for the PNC license. Successful receiving of the license will make the studernt a Registered Nurse.
Post-RN BScN Programme
The Post-RN BScN programme is a two-year programme designed to give experienced Registered Nurses an opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge and skills needed to practice nursing care as clinically competent professional nurses. Graduates will be able to provide leadership and influence the development of the nursing profession in Pakistan.
Upon completion of the programme, nurses are able to utilise critical thinking in providing holistic nursing care and play a role as change agents in nursing practice and education in any health care setting. Nurses may enrol as full-time or part-time students.
1 Year Post Basic Specialty Programme
The Basic Post Basic Specialty programme is a one-year programme designed to give experienced Registered Nurses an opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge and skills needed to practice nursing care as clinically competent professional nurses in a special field. Graduates will be able to provide leadership and influence the development of the nursing profession in Pakistan.
Upon completion of the programme, nurses are able to utilise critical thinking in providing holistic nursing care and play a role as change agents in nursing practice and education in any health care setting. Nurses may enrol as full-time or part-time students.
